Seacliff

Seacliff is a small settlement north of Dunedin. It was the home of the Seacliff Lunatic Asylum which when built was the largest building in NZ. It was demolished in the 50's due to ground subsidence. Thirty seven people died in a fire in 1942 when one of the buildings burned down.
