Hohensyburg

Hohensyburg ruins near Dortmund. It overlooks the confluence of the Ruhr and Lenne rivers. Near the ruins is a tower built in the mid 1800's in remembrance of the Upper Rhine Westphalia President Ludwig von Vincke. In the 30's a war memorial was erected to remember the fallen in WWI.
